Happy National Intern Day!

As National Intern Day arrives, we’re proud to recognize the incredible group of interns who joined us this summer. Each of these talented individuals is currently pursuing an engineering degree at colleges and universities across the country, bringing fresh perspectives, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic to our team. Over the past few months, we've had the pleasure of watching them grow professionally, tackle real-world challenges, and contribute meaningfully to our projects. Their dedication, curiosity, and collaborative spirit have made a lasting impression on all of us.

As the summer session comes to a close and they prepare to head back to campus, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks for their hard work and commitment. We’re excited to see where their journeys take them next and we wish them continued success in their academic and professional pursuits. No matter where they end up, they will always be part of the Racey Engineering family. We hope this experience has been as rewarding for them as it has been for us.

To receive this designation, Racey employees and other participating companies underwent an extensive survey about the company's values, benefits, working conditions, and much more. Town of Luray Comprehensive Plan Meeting

BB and Bradley enjoyed the Town of Luray's Comprehensive Plan meeting this year. Racey Engineering represented the Town in answering public questions about past and future projects for improvements or expansion in Luray. This plan is reevaluated every 5 years to ensure Luray is continually progressing.

Construction is a vital industry and is key in shaping our communities, infrastructure, and the future. Construction drives new technologies and sustainability, offering diverse opportunities regardless of current education, skills, or backgrounds. Whether you’re interested in project management, design, skilled trades, or safety, there is a role for everyone. Many of these opportunities are available to individuals without the burden of a college degree or the debt that comes with it and there is currently a high demand for workers in the industry.

30 Years in Business

Racey Engineering has been in business for 30 years! Pat and Chris Racey began this business venture in 1994, where the all operations were done out of their basement. Pat took on jobs here in the Shenandoah Valley and Chris maintained all of the book and administrative work, all while raising their two sons. In 2002, they decided to make Racey Engineering official and moved their operations to Main Street in Luray. Their business continued to grow into the Racey Engineering that we know and love today. Thank you Pat and Chris for all you do to make this business and the community thrive!
