Project Overview

Racey Engineering, PLLC provided Surveying Services to the Town of Luray for the installation of 16 Flood Monuments along the Hawksbill Creek & Dry Run. The Towns goal was to assist property owners in or near the flood zones with a more affordable way to verify their properties elevation for future development and/or check an existing buildings elevation.

The project services for this project included:

Installation of 16 monuments
Established NAVD88 Elevations on installed monuments
Work with the Town of Luray & Page County GIS to produce Monument Map and detailed information for the Town's website (www.townofluray.com/flood-plain.html).
